Abstract:
Jason Rosenfeld of Cask will discuss problems organizations face when employees bring their own devices to the office and how to address users demanding anytime, anywhere mobile access from PCs, tablets and phones, challenging both corporate governance efforts and service support models.
Learn how to:
- Design a governance strategy that supports Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)
- Enable increased employee productivity while preventing increased support costs
- Use these same mobile devices to streamline service desk support and reduce cost
- Leverage ITIL best practices such as Service Portfolio, Service Catalog, Request Fulfillment and Configuration Management to support a mobile governance policy
Speaker Bio:
Jason is the Service Management Practice Lead at Cask, LLC, a certified ITIL Expert, TIPA Assessor, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, ISO/IEC 20000 and 27002 certified, and has 15 years of hand-on ITSM, service delivery and consulting experience. He has worked with clients, ranging from 1,500 to 750,000 users, to build Service Management programs, roadmaps, services, portfolios and processes in the Financial, Federal, Defense, Tech, Entertainment and Gaming industries. Jason is the President of the ITSMF USA San Diego LIG and is currently working with Carnegie Mellon University and industry leaders on the Cloud Service Measurement Initiative Consortium (CSMIC) to publish the industry standard measurement framework for Cloud services.
Jason is a frequent blogger on www.apmdigest.com, the Cask company site, and has authored articles for SupportWorld Magazine and ITAK Magazine. He has spoken at itSMF USA, IAITAM, BrightTalk, and federal industry events on the topics of Cloud, Service Catalog, Service Management and IT Asset Management.
Jason holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University.
